The Action Stream plugin provides a lot of information about your profiles which isn't accessed by default. With a little playing (as described in my previous posts) you can really start making your action streams work for you and provide a "lifestream" to your own blog.
The following is a description of all the fields found in the default plugin (without any additional profile plugins) in the following format:

Many thanks, Richard. This is very useful.
I have to confess that I am having great difficulty wrapping my head around how some of these tags work. I've looked at the documentation and recipes in the subversion you pointed me to on the MT forums, but still no luck.
What I want to do is, I think, fairly simple.
1. Set up my ActionStreams
2. Pull the last n posts from each
3. Group them separately: lastn for digg, lastn for smugmug, lastn for newsvine, lastn for goodreads.
4. Each stream is positioned differently on my page. It's not just one long list in a sidebar. So in one box, I want only the newsvines. Elsewhere, I want just the diggs, and so on.
5. In each box/section, I want to show the title or name of the service as a caption, linked to its homepage. This is what I find I cannot do.
6. When I use pubDate/retrieve a created_on field, it gives me the absurd level of detail I don't want. I merely want the day-month-year.
How do I achieve this?
I tried following your collating example, but without success.
